Burbank News: Stough Canyon Hiking Trail & Nature Center
The Stough Canyon Nature center is located in the hills of burbank, at 2300 Walnut Ave. From Glenoaks Blvd head up the hill to the very top, there is a parking lot located at the Nature Center. The trail leads up to the top of Stough Canyon, it is about a 90 minute hike and the views are spectacular! It is a fun walk or hike for the whole family, it is interesting to see all the cities around Burbank, including Sun Valley, Sunland, Tujunga, the San Fernando Valley, etc. The Nature Center is open from September to June Tuesday to Friday, and Sunday 11 am - 5 pm, Saturday 9 am - 5 pm and Closed Mondays and Most Holidays. During the week of October 15 - 22 the there is a week long event called The Haunted Hike for halloween. In July and August the Nature Center is open Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm, Saturday 9 am - 5 pm and Sunday 11am - 5pm.

Haven’t done the youth camp yet, but maybe I’ll check it out on Sunday. My typical route goes up to the radio station and then down Wildwood Canyon. Fantastic trail.
