Gordon Biersch Burbankwould like to welcome you to their Sommergold Tapping Party! Gordon Biersch is located in the heart of Downtown Burbank on the corner of Angeleno and San Fernando, just one block east of Olive. On June 24th Gordon Biersch will be kicking off their Sommergold 2008 Menu and they would like to personally invite you to the party!
Of course Gordon Biersch has to have a Sommergold Beer to go along with the menu! The Sommergold Beer is a Kolsch style pale ale that is light and dry with a slight hint of fruitness that really brings out the flavor of this incredible beer! It is the perfect beer to celebrate the days of summer and compliments the new Sommergold menu!
We have got to kick off this menu with a great new starter, it is a Shrimp and Crab tower! Wow is the best way to describe it! A tower of diced tomatoes, diced avocados, marinated shrimp in a lemon mayonnaise sauce and crab! Yum! the freshly grilled flat bread is the perfect scooper and boy does this get the appetite going!
For those of us that really enjoy eating light and love our salads, the new Sommergold menu offers an Asian Chicken Salad! This is one great salad, bean sprouts, red bell peppers, julienne carrots, sliced almonds, broccoli, mandarin oranges, crispy won tons, grilled chicken all tossed together in a sesame vinaigrette dressing that really hits the spot!
If Chicken is your thing and you think you can handle half of a roasted chicken this is just right for you! The chicken is seasoned with the perfect herb blend and then served over mashed potatoes with spinach and gravy!
In the mood for pasta, the Grilled Vegetable Pasta includes asparagus, red bell peppers, broccoli, zucchini,, red onions and yellow squash perfectly tossed with a tomato pesto sauce!
So it’s Seafood that you are craving! The Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi is just that, covered with a special Macadamia Nut crust, seared and then finished in the oven, it is served over a picatta sauce and then topped with a pineapple salsa for that amazing tropical flavor!
More of a Burger person, how about the Sommergold Burger, 8 ounces of USDA prime burger on a Challah bun with lettuce, tomato and Gordon Bierschs world famous garlic fries!
Gordon Biersch wouldn’t forget to add a steak to the menu, but this is not any ordinary steak, it is a garlic Tenderloin! Seasoned and grilled to perfection and topped with a mushroom glaze sits nicely with the vegetables and mashed potatoes!
After all that food you have just a small spot for Dessert, Gordon Biersch is introducing Mini Dessert tasters! Not too big, not too small, just right! Some of the flavors are Strawberry Cheesecake, Berry Trifle, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Cake and Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie!
All of these will be available starting on June 24th, stop on in and enjoy this great new menu and if you can make the Tapping Party you just might get lucky and get a free beer on the house!
